The invention refers to a slat for roll up doors that comprises an external metal sheet (40) and a body (10) of thermally insulating material, characterisedin that it further comprises a first profile (20) of plastic material attached to the external sheet (40) and to the body (10) along one of its edges, and a second profile (30) of plastic material, attached to the external sheet (40) and to the body (10) along another one of its edges. This configuration prevents the thermal bridge between the external sheet (40) and the internal face of the slat, and therefore, the slat has very good insulating properties.
