The invention relates to a revolving door (1). The revolving door comprises the following components: a turnstile (2) having at least two door wings (3), wherein the turnstile (2) is rotatble about an axis of rotation (5), an axial direction (5) is defined along the rotational axis (5) and a radial direction (6) is defined perpendicular to the axial direction (5); an electrical drive (8), which is designed as an electronically commutated multipolar motor having a stator (10) which comprises a stator lamination stack (11) and a plurality of coils (13) as well as a rotor (17) which comprises a rotor lamination stake (18) and a plurality of permanent magnets (19); and an axial slide bearing (20), which is between the stator and the rotor, with an annular sliding surface which has a slide surface internal diameter (P) and a slide surface width (Q), wherein the rotor (17) is coaxially disposed to the rotational axis, and is connected to the turnstile (2) for direct gearless drive.
