SHELTER FOR TSUNAMIS AND OTHER DISASTERS
A highly safe disaster shelter for tsunami and other disasters is provided with which it is possible to prevent people and items from being drifted by tsunami. A bottom plate foundation (11) is provided on an installation surface, and a side foundation (12) rises from the peripheral edge of the bottom plate foundation (11) and is provided integrally with the bottom plate foundation (11). A shelter main body (13) is arranged inside the side foundation (12) and on an upper portion of the bottom plate foundation (11). The shelter main body (13) is fixed to the side foundation (12) with a fixing anchor (29) which is extended in a lateral direction so as to connect the side wall of the shelter main body (13) and the side foundation (12). An exterior member (14) is arranged a gap apart from the side surface and the upper surface of the shelter main body (13) so as to cover the side surface and the upper surface of the shelter main body (13). A shock absorbing means (15) is fixed to the shelter main body (13) and the exterior member (14) and supports the exterior member such that an impact applied to the exterior member (14) from outside can be absorbed.
