WINDOW OR DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM
An adaptor for a window or door locking system, the adaptor having a base plate, a first cam, and a second cam, wherein the base plate is adapted to be attached to an operation rod of a shootbolt assembly, the operation rod having a longitudinal axis, and wherein the first and second cams are arranged on the base plate, the first cam being arranged substantially in-line with the longitudinal axis of the operation rod of the shootbolt assembly, and the second cam being arranged out of line with the longitudinal axis of the operation rod of the shootbolt assembly so that the window may be securely placed in both closed and nigh-vent positions.
