METHOD FOR DETECTION OF LEAKAGE IN A WATER INSTALLATION
Method for detection of a water leakage from a water installation, where the flow is monitored in several consecutive flow bands (5). Each band (5) has a lower and an upper limit (4) and an integrator. The band integrator calculates the total amount of flow inside the band since the last reset. The band integrator is reset when the flow drops below the lower band boundary. When the flow exceeds the upper band boundary the next band integrator is activated. All band integrator values are summed. The output value (2) of the compound integrator is compared against a protection level (4), and an alarm is set off if the protection level is exceeded.
