A ground engaging apparatus may include a support structure with a first connector opening, a hollow wear member attachable to the support structure. The wear member may include opposite side walls with second and third connector openings extending therethrough alignable with the first connector opening. A connector pin member may be rotatably supported within the first connector opening. The connector pin member may be rotatable to: a first position in which the projections move rearwardly through and then exit recesses, a second position in which the eccentrically curved outer side surfaces engage surfaces of the second and third connector openings in a manner blocking removal of the wear member from the nose portion, and a third position in which the eccentrically curved outer side surfaces forcibly engage the surfaces of the second and third connector openings in a manner rearwardly moving the wear member along the nose portion to tighten the wear member thereon."
