ASSEMBLY OF A SEWER AND A SEWER BLOCKAGE DETECTION SYSTEM
An assembly of a sewer and a sewer blockage detection system comprises a sewer pipe 1, a gas supply pump 6, a gas transport duct 8, a measuring organ 10 for measuring back pressures of pressurized gas flowing through the duct, and a control unit 15. The control unit comprises at least one threshold value for measured back pressures and is designed to send out an alarm signal when the measured back pressures over a period of time lie above the threshold value. A gas inflow opening 9 has been provided in a lower circumferential wall section of the sewer pipe, such that pressurized gas which is delivered to the duct, gets blown directly through the gas inflow opening in the lower circumferential wall section into the bottom part of the sewer pipe.
