A door fitting includes an adapter by means of which an external handle, in particular an outer handle or the like, can be decoupled from a locking mechanism of the door and can be coupled with the locking mechanism, in particular in combination with an access control system or the like. The outer handle is connected to a first lock female part of the split lock nut and the lock mechanism is connected to a lock nut part of the split lock nut provided on an inner handle. The adapter comprises at least one magnetizing element matching the split lock nut and capable of moving between a coupling position for connecting the two locking nut parts to each other and a decoupling position for separating the two locking nut parts from each other, and an execution element which has a magnet for loading a magnetized element or is at least partially and correspondingly magnetized.
