DEFORMABLE ELECTRICAL GENERATOR FOR ENERGY HARVESTING
The proposed energy generator comprises an energy harvesting material (19) which generates electrical energy when deformed from a first position to a second position and one or more deflection aids comprising a moveable clamp (93), wherein each deflection aid biases the harvesting material to the first position, the generator preferably forming a flexible piezoelectric bistable bending element. An energy harvesting system and a floor covering, for example a step nosing, comprising at least one such generator are also disclosed.
