CELLULAR CERAMIC ARTICLE WITH HYBRID PORE CONFIGURATION
Disclosed is a cellular ceramic article with hybrid pore configuration. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a cellular ceramic article with hybrid pore configuration, which contains one or more first cellular ceramic portions in the center and one or more second ceramic cellular portions surrounding the first cellular ceramic portion, wherein the first cellular ceramic portion is the cellular ceramic having symmetric or asymmetric pore configuration with a first heat capacity value and a wall thickness of 0.28mm or more; the second cellular ceramic portion is a cellular ceramic having asymmetric pore configuration with a second heat capacity value and a wall thickness of less than 0.28 mm; the first heat capacity value is greater than the second heat capacity value. The present disclosure also relates to the use of the cellular ceramic article in capturing soot particulates of automobile engine exhaust gas.
