The invention relates to a lock for a motor vehicle, comprising a stator (1), and a rotor (2) designed to actuate an unlocking body, the stator (1) and the rotor (2) comprising a first and a second assembly means which cooperate together such that the rotor (2) can move between an open angular position in which the rotor (2) can move in translation along the axis of rotation of the rotor, and closed angular positions in which the first and second assembly means block the rotor (2) in translation along the axis of rotation of the rotor, the closed angular positions comprising an idle position and at least one active position for actuating the unlocking body, the lock also comprising a blocking means (33, 34) for blocking the rotation of the rotor (2) in the direction of the open angular position. The invention also relates to an associated motor vehicle and an associated assembly method.
