A self-propelled street washer (1) comprising: a chassis (10), which accommodates and supports a driving cab (20) with a driving position and preferably also a passenger position; a front axle comprising a pair of front wheels (32); a rear axle comprising a pair of rear wheels (42); at least one electric traction motor; at least one tank (3a, 3b, 3c) containing a washing liquid; at least one washing bar (4) for supplying the washing liquid under pressure to a street surface, a sidewalk or a general transit/walking surface; a pumping system (50) to pump the washing liquid from the tank (3a, 3b, 3c) to the washing bar (4); an electric power source (B) which powers both the pumping system (50) and the at least one electric traction motor; and preferably a washing gun.
