The child toilet seat assembly (70) also includes a child toilet seat (75) coupled to the base member (80) via a hinge joint (85). The hinge joint (85) enables the child toilet seat (75) to pivot about a pivot axis (86) between an operating position and a storage position. The hinge joint (85) also enables the child toilet seat (75) to move along a translational axis (88) between a locked state inhibiting movement of the child toilet seat (75) relative to the base member (80) and an unlocked state allowing movement of the child toilet seat (75) relative to the base member (80).
