HEAT-INSULATING MEMBER
A thermal insulation member (16) includes a first main surface (161) opposed to one of objects, when it is sandwiched between the objects, and a second main surface (162) positioned on the opposite side from the first main surface (161) and opposed to the other object. The thermal insulation member (16) has a porous structure of ceramic having pores, and ZrOparticles and different type material existing on surfaces of the ZrOparticles form a skeleton of the porous structure. The different type material includes at least one selected out of SiO, TiO, LaO, and YO. Since the different type material exists on the surfaces of the ZrOparticles, especially on connecting parts between particles, it is possible to obtain excellent thermal insulation performance while keeping the mechanical strength of the thermal insulation member (16) high.
