The present description relates to a polymer fiber bundle for reinforcement of mortars or concrete, method of production and uses thereof.One of the main reinforcement mechanisms of the fibers of the present disclosure is based on the friction between the fibers and the involving cementitious medium, these mechanisms having been maximized by a set of factors that synergistically improve the performance thereof, namely: equivalent diameter/number of fibers, twist, weight, fiber length and surface treatment in particular the mechanical indentation.
