The invention relates to a method for producing a porous moulded body (100), comprising at least the following steps: A) providing a powdery carrier material (10) comprising at least one metal powder and/or ceramic powder; B) providing a spacer material (20); C) providing a low-melting binder material (30) selected such that the melting temperature (Ts,30) thereof is below that (Ts,20) of the spacer material (20); D) coating the spacer material (20) with the binder material (30); E) mixing the carrier material (10) with the coated spacer material (40) to form a moulding compound (50); F) shaping a green compact (60) from the moulding compound (50) at a plasticising temperature (Tp,60) below the melting temperature (Ts,20) of the spacer material (20); G) cooling the green compact (60); H) removing the binder material (30) from the green compact (60) at a first holding temperature (TH,70); I) sintering the released green compact (70) at a second holding temperature (TH,80); J) removing the spacer material (20) from the sintered green compact (80) at a third holding temperature (TH,90); and K) sintering the intermediate product (90) at a sintering temperature (Ts,100) to form a moulded body (100) with a defined pore size distribution according to the particle size distribution of the spacer material (20).
