The invention relates to a fitting system for a construction element, which has a frame and a movable wing, which fitting system is designed to shift the wing between at least two different functional states and comprises a set of modular functional units. The set comprises two bearing units for rotatably mounting the wing on the frame, each bearing unit comprising a first bearing part designed for fastening to the frame and a second bearing part designed for fastening to the wing, the second bearing part being movable relative to the first bearing part transversely to the plane of the frame by means of a drive in the assembled state, at least one locking unit for releasably fixing the wing to the frame, which locking unit has a locking element that can be moved between a fixing position and a release position by means of a drive, and optionally at least one opening/closing unit for automatically opening and closing the wing, which opening/closing unit has a control element, which is provided for acting on the wing or on the frame and which can be moved between a retracted position and an extended position by means of a drive.
