An in-wall frame (10) for sliding doors, of the type comprising a framework enclosed in a casing (50), said in-wall frame (10) comprising:- two opposite end elements (11, 12), which are vertical in the configuration for use, respectively a first one (11) and a second one (12),- a crossmember (13), which is horizontal in the configuration for use and is extended between the upper ends of the two end elements (11, 12),- two mutually opposite intermediate elements (14a, 14b), in a substantially median position between the two elements (11, 12), which are vertical in the configuration for use,- one or more pairs of transverse elements (15a, 15b) which are horizontal in the configuration for use, each comprised between one of the end elements (11, 12) and one of the intermediate elements (14a, 14b),the in-wall frame (10) being adjustable in height and/or width.
