AUTOMATIC APPLICATION OF LOCAL SPECIFICATION
A control unit of a temperature measurement system for a road construction machine, wherein the control unit has access to a database, a plurality of specification data sets stored on said database, wherein each of the plurality of specification data sets is assigned to a local region and comprises a temperature measurement specification and/or a temperature measurement report specification, the control unit comprises a data set selector and a data analyzer. The data set selector is configured to select a respective specification data set out of the plurality based on a position information for the road construction machine, the position information pointing to the respective local region. The data analyzer is connected to a temperature sensor and configured to analyze raw data received from the temperature sensor taking into account the selected temperature measurement specification and/or to output a local specific temperature report based on the analyzed raw data taking into account the selected temperature measurement report specification.
