The invention relates to an insert bushing arrangement (8) of a breaking hammer (1), a breaking hammer and a method of supporting a breaking tool (6) of a breaking hammer. The insert bushing arrangement comprises a bearing support (BS) inside which an insert bushing (15) is mountable. Between the bearing support and the insert bushing is one or more intermediate material layers (17a) for preventing jamming of the mentioned components.
