A thermosetting composite material, particularly for providing sanitary articles, bathroom washbasins and kitchen sinks, comprising a polymeric matrix and an inorganic filler material distributed within the matrix. The particularity of the invention resides in that the polymeric matrix is a reaction soup which comprises isobornyl methacrylate (IBOMA), cyclohexyl methacrylate (CHMA), and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA).
