In particular, a door system (490) that is adapted to control an opening of a door module (430) that separates compartments of an aircraft, the door module (430) comprising a door panel (440) that performs a rotational movement (489) above a floor structure (485) of the aircraft (100) during an opening of the door module (430), comprises a deceleration mechanism (480) that comprises a bolt (483), a bolt moving mechanism (484) that is attached to the bolt (483), a latch mechanism (487) that is removably connected to the bolt moving mechanism (484), an activation mechanism (488) that is attached to the latch mechanism (487), and a brake element (482) that is rigidly attached to the bolt (483).
