URINAL SENSOR SYSTEM
A urinal 10 comprising an outlet pipe 12 and a sensor 20 attached to the outlet pipe 12; wherein the sensor 20 is operable to detect the presence of fluid in the outlet pipe 20, and is configured to output at least one first signal containing first information relating to the presence of fluid in the outlet pipe 12. The output from the sensor 20 may be used to a monitor the usage of the urinal 10, or to detect a blockage in the outlet pipe 20. The output from the sensor may be used to control the operation of a flush valve 50 and may be output to a handheld device or a computer, which may be used to control the operation of the sensor 20.
