The invention relates to a reinforcing cage for a slotted wall panel which, in cross-section, is essentially square with a wide side and a narrow side, wherein the reinforcing cage has reinforcing rods which are assembled in a grid-like manner. According to the invention, it is provided that the reinforcing cage is formed in at least a lateral region, which is allocated to one of the narrow sides of the slotted wall panel, with glass fiber rods. The invention further relates to a method for producing a slotted wall in the ground using such a reinforcing cage.
