UPRIGHT FOR BALUSTRADES, RAILINGS AND THE LIKE
An upright (1) for balustrades, railings and the like, comprising a first column (2), a second column (3) and a top element (4), connected to said first column (2) and second column (3), connectable to a handrail (C), or similar. The first column (2) and second column (3) are mutually connected, one parallel to the other, so that a certain distance (D) is provided between them, suitable for allow the passage, between the columns (2,3), of fall protection elements (P) of a balustrade, railing, or the like. The first column (2) having a greater length than said second column (3); the first column (2) comprises a lower portion (12) which, in use, extends beyond the lower end of the second column (3). Furthermore, the lower portion (12) of the first column (2) comprising fastening means (13) to a vertical wall (V) of any structure, such as a staircase (S), a balcony, a mezzanine, a landing, or similar, in which it is necessary to provide a protection against falling.
