The present invention relates to a runner for moving a sliding canopy and pulling system thereof in a pergola type structure, of the type that is made up of at least two parallel beams and transverse sticks which by means of the movement thereof move the canopy. It relates to a runner, as an element that slides along the beam and is fastened to a stick, pulling said stick by the action of a sliding strap.
