IMPROVED HOOK LOCK
A hook lock mechanism comprises a hook which pivots about an axis and is movable between at least a position in which it is locked and can act as a dead bolt for a lock and a position in which it is not locked but can act as a latch bolt for a lock. Locks comprising said hook lock mechanism, and methods of locking and unlocking gates with said locks are also disclosed.
