The present invention relates to a modular panel (100) for forming a roof garden. This modular panel (100) comprises a bottom (10) and external walls (20) which delimit a compartment (30) configured to contain a liquid and means (70) for feeding a liquid into said compartment (30). The modular panel also comprises a support layer (40) for supporting soil and an operative element (50) projecting from the bottom (10) and having a distal end (51) with respect to said bottom (10). This distal end (51) defines a support for the support layer (40). The operative element (51) is configured so as to draw the liquid from the bottom (10) towards the distal end (51) in order to transfer the liquid to the support layer (40). The latter is also configured so as to spread through it the liquid received from the operative element (51) towards the soil.
