SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING DEBRIS FROM A WATERWAY
A system (100) for removing debris from a waterway is provided, comprising: a barrier system (10) configured to filter-out and direct and/or deflect debris contained in and/or floating on a surface of an incoming fluid flow through the waterway towards a side of the waterway; and a debris handling system (20) configured to receive the debris directed by the barrier system and remove the debris from the waterway. A method of removing debris from a waterway is also provided.
