METHOD FOR PRODUCING CERAMIC MATRIX COMPOSITE AND CERAMIC MATRIX COMPOSITE
A ceramic matrix composite manufacturing method and a ceramic matrix composite capable of suppressing the strength reduction of the ceramic matrix composite are provided. The method for manufacturing a ceramic matrix composite 103-1 includes a zirconia-sol containing layer forming step of forming a zirconia-sol containing layer 24-1 that contains zirconia sol, on fabric 20 having an interface layer 23 formed on a periphery of each of a plurality of ceramic-made fibers 22; an impregnating step of impregnating the fabric 20 with a polymer 30; an oxygen supplying step of supplying oxygen to the polymer 30; an inert-firing step of subjecting to further heating in an inert gas atmosphere and causing a reaction of the polymer 30, to form a matrix 32; and an oxygen-firing step of subjecting to further heating in an oxygen atmosphere to remove the interface layer 23, to generate a ceramic matrix composite 103-1 in which the matrix 32 is interposed between the fibers 22.
