The invention relates to a method for finishing natural stone slabs, in particular marble slabs, having the steps of: a) providing a natural stone slab, b) capturing at least one image of the natural stone slab, c) detecting at least one defect using the at least one image, d) cutting out the at least one defect using laser radiation, wherein a depression (V) is formed in the natural stone slab, and e) filling the depression (V) by introducing and hardening one or more liquids. The invention additionally relates to a device (1) for finishing natural stone slabs, in particular marble slabs, and to a natural stone slab produced using the method and/or the device according to the invention.
