The invention relates to an escape structure (10) built on land (50) comprising a framework (14) supporting the escape structure (10), and an actuating device. The actuating device comprises several telescoping cylinders (20) arranged to lift the structure (10) in relation to the ground (50). The escape structure (10) further comprises an electronic management module (30) configured to control the telescoping cylinders (20) in order to lift the structure (10) in relation to the ground (50). The telescoping cylinders (20) are mounted, at least partially, within the framework (14) of the structure (10).
