SUSTAINABLE GOODS
Suggested are sustainable goods and with improved eco-balance obtained according to the following steps:(i) providing an inorganic pre-polymer mixture comprising, consisting of or essentially consisting of:(a) about 2.5 to about 12.5 wt.-percent water glass (calculated as solid);(b) about 0.7 to about 7.0 wt.-percent alkali hydroxide;(c) about 10 to about 70 wt.-percent calcium aluminate; and(d) about 6.8 to about 20 wt.-percent water,with the proviso that the amounts add up to 100% by weight;(ii) providing at least one solid additive;(iii) blending the inorganic pre-polymer mixture of step (i) with the at least one solid additive of step (ii) to form a composite;(iv) optionally subjecting the composite of step (iiii) to a curing operation; and(v) shaping the composite of step (iii) or the cured composite of step (iv) into form to obtain the final good.
