The invention relates to a device for measuring a flow rate of a fluid, in particular of surface water through a fluid outlet, said device having a measuring unit (13) for determining a flow volume, wherein the device has a fluid inlet (10) comprising a pipe section (11), a baffle (12) and a measuring unit (13), said measuring unit (13) being provided in a fixed position above the baffle (12) and having a high-tensile, in particular rigid, connection to the baffle (12) which lies substantially perpendicularly to a flow direction, and said measuring unit (13) having a force measuring device (14) for measuring the weight of the fluid acting on the baffle (12). The invention further relates to a fluid outlet comprising a device of this type, to a gully equipped with a fluid outlet of this type and to a method for measuring a flow rate of a fluid through a fluid outlet, using a device of this type.
