The subject of the invention is a floor tile (1) including a substrate piece (2) and a flooring layer (3), wherein the flooring layer (3) is connected to the substrate piece (2) and the substrate piece (2) includes shape locks (4) along its circumference for connection with the adjoining floor tiles (1'). The substrate piece (2) further includes a frame (5) which projects from the substrate piece (2) above the plane of the substrate piece (2) in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the substrate piece (2) directly on its two adjacent edge sides and flanks the flooring layer (3) on its two adjacent edge sides.
