MACHINE FOR WELDING PLASTIC PROFILED ELEMENTS
A machine for welding plastic profiled elements 5 (such as for PVC window or door frames) comprises:- one supporting base extending along a first direction (X); at least one lateral welding device (3, fig 2) provided with one lateral heating plate (13, fig 2) adapted to heat a main profiled element and a respective lateral profiled element (6, fig 2); at least one intermediate welding device (4, fig 3) provided with an intermediate heating plate (18, fig 3) shaped in a “V” pattern and adapted to heat the main profiled element and a respective transverse profiled element, in which the main profiled element comprises one pair of intermediate areas to be welded 19, contiguous to each other to form a “V”-shaped concavity 20, and the transverse profiled element comprises, at the point where at least one end is located, a pair of transverse areas to be welded, contiguous to each other to form a “V”-shaped convexity substantially complementary to the concavity; and detection means 33 of the concavity for the positioning of the intermediate welding device along the first direction (X) with respect to the concavity. The detection means preferably comprises a light emitter 34, which may be a laser spacer device with means for sensing the distance of a portion of the concavity illuminated by a beam of the light.

A machine for welding plastic profiled elements 5 (such as for PVC window or door frames) comprises:- one supporting base extending along a first direction (X); at least one lateral welding device (3, fig 2) provided with one lateral heating plate (13, fig 2) adapted to heat a main profiled element and a respective lateral profiled element (6, fig 2); at least one intermediate welding device (4, fig 3) provided with an intermediate heating plate (18, fig 3) shaped in a “V” pattern and adapted to heat the main profiled element and a respective transverse profiled element, in which the main profiled element comprises one pair of intermediate areas to be welded 19, contiguous to each other to form a “V”-shaped concavity 20, and the transverse profiled element comprises, at the point where at least one end is located, a pair of transverse areas to be welded, contiguous to each other to form a “V”-shaped convexity substantially complementary to the concavity; and detection means 33 of the concavity for the positioning of the intermediate welding device along the first direction (X) with respect to the concavity.
