The invention relates to a locking system (2) for a door (3), comprising an actuating device (5), wherein the actuating device (5) has an actuating element (11) and the actuating element (11) is movable, and comprising a locking device (6), wherein the locking device (6) has at least one locking element (12a), the locking element (12a) is pivotable about a pivot axis S between a locking position VS and an unlocking position ES, the locking device (6) has at least one transmission element (14a), the transmission element (14a) is movable along a longitudinal axis L1, the locking element (12a) is coupled in terms of movement to the actuating element (11) via the transmission element (14a), and the locking device (6) has a guide housing (13a) for guiding the transmission element (14a) and the locking element (12a) in the axial direction with respect to the longitudinal axis L1. The actuating element (11) is rotatable about an axis of rotation D, so that when the actuating element (11) rotates about the axis of rotation D, the transmission element (14a) is moved along the longitudinal axis L1 in order to pivot the locking element (12a) between the locking position VS and the unlocking position ES.

The actuating element (11) is rotatable about an axis of rotation D, so that when the actuating element (11) rotates about the axis of rotation D, the transmission element (14a) is moved along the longitudinal axis L1 in order to pivot the locking element (12a) between the locking position VS and the unlocking position ES.
