VIBRATION DAMPER
The invention refers to a vibration damper (1000) for damping vibrations of a structure (2000), comprising:- a first damper unit (1100) comprising a first damper body (1110) mounted to a first hanger unit (1120) that is configured to be hingedly attached to the structure (2000) by means of a first structure coupling element (2100), the first damper unit (1100) being configured as a hanging pendulum;- a second damper unit (1200) comprising a second damper body (1210) mounted to a second hanger unit (1220) that is configured to be hingedly attached to the structure (2000) by means of a second structure coupling element (2200), the second damper unit (1200) being configured as an inverted pendulum; and- connecting means (1300) for connecting the first damper unit (1100) and the second damper unit (1200); and- the second structure coupling element (2200) being configured to be located at a height above the first damper body (1110).
