The invention relates to a composition for treating a concrete surface, the composition containing the following ingredients: - at least 35.0 wt.% of water; - 20.0-35.0 wt.% of an emulsion containing one or more fatty acid alkyl esters; - 20.0-35.0 wt.% of a wax dispersion; - 0.5-1.5 wt.% of a polyether-modified siloxane; - 0.1-0.3 wt.% of an antifoaming agent; - 0.05-0.3 wt.% of a thickener; - 0.05-0.3 wt.% of a preservative; - < 10 wt.% of a sugar and/oder an organic acid and/oder a derivative of an organic acid.
