The invention relates to a railing bar (1) for a leading railing, which comprises at least a first and a second connection means (2, 3) for respectively fastening to a connection element of a vertical pole (4). The railing bar (1) comprises a central bar which preferably takes the form of a hollow tube. The railing bar (1) also comprises a first and a second portion (5, 6). The first portion (5) comprises a first connection means (2) and the second portion (6) comprises a second connection means (3). The connection means (2, 3) are preferably designed to be flat in relation to the central bar. The first connection means (2) and/or the second connection means (3) have or has an opening (7). The opening (7) has a central portion (8) and cutouts (9) which are arranged so as to emanate radially from the centre point of the central portion (8). The invention also comprises a vertical pole (4) of a scaffold with a retaining pin (11). In addition, the invention comprises a vertical frame (39), a fastening element for connecting a crossbar of a scaffold to a vertical pole (4) of a scaffold, an anti-tilt block (21), a scaffold platform (20), a method for roughening a scaffold platform (20), and a scaffold comprising one of the aforementioned elements.
