The present invention relates to a reactive binder mixture comprising, based on the total dry matter, 10 to 40 wt. % hydraulic cement, 40 to 80 wt.% calcium sulphate hemihydrate, and 0,5 to 35 wt. % silica source material comprising a monomeric, oligomeric or polymeric silicate-based material comprising up to 15×106 repeating units, similar or different, of formula I: [-O-SiR13] (I)wherein each R1 is independently selected from alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, phenoxy, acetoxy, hydroxyl and a single bond.The silica source material may further comprise silica fume, metakaolin and/or fly ash.
