A TUBULAR SMOKE SHAFT SECTION, A SMOKE SHAFT AND A FABRICATING METHOD
The invention relates to a tubular smoke shaft section (1) comprising plurality of vertical walls (3a,3b,3c,3d) in connection with each other and arranged to border a hollow upwards and downwards open smoke guiding channel (4), wherein each said wall (3a,3b,3c,3d) has a sandwich structure and comprises a first face sheet (31) forming an inner face of the wall (3a,3b,3c,3d) and a second face sheet (32) forming an outer face of the wall (3a,3b,3c,3d), and an insulation layer (33) between said first face sheet (31) and said second face sheet (32). One or more of said walls (3a,3b,3c,3d) comprises on one or more side faces (33a,33b) of the insulation layer (33) a sealing member (34a,34b) for sealing a gap (g1;g2) between said side face (33a,33b) of the insulation layer (33) and a side face (33a',33b) of another wall (3a,3b,3c,3d), wherein the sealing member (34a,34b) comprises intumescent material. The invention also relates to a smoke shaft and a method of fabricating a tubular section (1) of a smoke shaft.

The invention also relates to a smoke shaft and a method of fabricating a tubular section (1) of a smoke shaft.
