The invention relates to a sealing system for a device for accessing an underground infrastructure, the access device comprising a frame (2) defining an opening (4) and a cover (3) comprising a plurality of hatches (6) intended to close the opening (4) in the frame (2). The sealing system comprises the frame (2) and at least one crossmember (11) which forms, with the frame (2), a seating surface (5, 12) for the cover (3) of the access device. The sealing system further comprises at least one seal (13) comprising a lower part which is designed to be inserted into a recess provided in the frame (2). The at least one crossmember (11) comprises a lug which protrudes in the longitudinal direction (X) from at least one of the longitudinal ends of the crossmember (11) and which is designed to be inserted into the recess, the seal (13) being attached to the crossmember (11) by fitting the lug inside the seal (13).
