An example apparatus includes a pawl (204, 610) having a protrusion (226), the pawl coupled to an over-center spring (310, 622), the over-center spring connected to a frame of a cabin door (115, 412), and a latch hook (206, 612) having a first recess (228) to receive the protrusion of the pawl and a second recess (229) to receive a latch pin (230, 616) when the cabin door closes.
