A carriage (1) for a sliding door comprises a roller holder (2), on which is mounted at least one roller (3) that can travel along a rail, and a support part (4) for supporting the sliding door, said support part being movable in the axial direction of the at least one roller (3) relative to the roller holder (2), wherein an adjustment device (5) provided on the carriage (1) allows the height of the support part (4) relative to the roller holder (2) to be adjusted. A linear bearing (14) with a movable shaft (11) for supporting the support part (4) is provided on the roller holder (2), and an adjustment element (6) of the adjustment device (5) is supported on the shaft (11) by means of a contact slope (8).
