The present invention relates to a method for producing a mortar, the method comprising the steps of transporting concrete aggregate into a microwave cavity and emitting microwaves into the cavity, grinding the aggregate following the transporting step, forming an assembly of particles from particles obtained from grinding during the grinding step, most of the particles in the assembly having a diameter that is strictly smaller than 2 mm, and mixing at least some of the assembly of particles with a cement to form a mortar.
