There is provided a hose spreading unit (1) for agricultural machine (300), capable of spreading an irrigation hose (100) on the ground and comprising: a roll holding device (2), capable of supporting the irrigation hose (100) coiled in rolls (102), a positioning device (4), capable of laying the irrigation hose (100) uncoiled on the ground, an uncoiling device (3), capable of uncoiling the irrigation hose (100) and canalizing it towards the positioning device (4), a cutting device (5), capable of cutting the irrigation hose (100), a covering device (6), capable of covering the irrigation hose (100) with soil after the irrigation hose (100) has been laid on the ground, electronic control means, capable of controlling at least the uncoiling device (3) and the cutting device (5).
