MAGNETIC LATCH OPERATION MECHANISM, LOCKSET AND DOOR
The present invention concerns a magnetic latch operation mechanism (100) comprising a latch body (110) and a slider (120). The latch body (110) is guided in a first direction (X) between a retracted position and an extended position, magnetically attracted towards the extended position when aligned with a magnetic striker (141), and has an opening (111) partially delimited by an inclined actuation surface (112), which is inclined with respect to the first direction (X). The slider (120) is guided in a second direction (Z) substantially perpendicular to the first direction (X) and comprises a first pin (124) received, substantially perpendicularly to said first and second directions (X,Z), in said opening (111), and operatively engaging the inclined actuation surface (112) to move the latch body (110) towards the retracted position. The present invention further concerns a lockset (10) comprising the magnetic latch operation mechanism (100) received within a housing (200), and a door assembly comprising a frame (600) and a leaf (500) connected by one or more hinges (700), as well as the lockset (10).

The present invention concerns a magnetic latch operation mechanism (100) comprising a latch body (110) and a slider (120). The latch body (110) is guided in a first direction (X) between a retracted position and an extended position, magnetically attracted towards the extended position when aligned with a magnetic striker (141), and has an opening (111) partially delimited by an inclined actuation surface (112), which is inclined with respect to the first direction (X).
