The slab has an upper side (1) and a lower side (2), where a polyurethane layer (3) is applied on the upper side. A decorative layer (5) imitating the natural material e.g. wood or stone, is applied on the polyurethane layer. Another polyurethane layer (4) is applied on the lower side, where the polyurethane layer (4) contains heavier particles opposite to the polyurethane. A third polyurethane layer (6) is applied on the decorative layer, where the polyurethane layer (6) seals the decorative layer. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a building slab.
