The present invention relates to a false wall device comprising a panel formed of at least one stretched sheet fixed to the base of a frame consisting of the assembly of profiled section pieces (1) that form the sides thereof, notable in that each profiled section piece (1) of the frame has a cross section with a top first face (11), a base (12) opposite said top first face (11), an external second face (13) and an internal third face (14), facing the external second face (13), each profiled section piece (1) comprising at least three housings (15, 16, 17) each intended to accommodate a peripheral edging (18) of a stretched sheet (19), a first housing (15) situated near the top first face (11) of the profiled section piece (1), a second housing (16) situated near the base (12) of said profiled section piece (1) and at least one third housing (17) formed in the internal face (14) of the profiled section piece (1).
